Role Description
This is a full-time role for a marketing and PR specialist at Kink in the Cable BV. In this role crucial for the company, you will have the opportunity to craft and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with our company’s goals and vision. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing campaigns across a variety of platforms, leveraging data-driven insights to ensure maximum reach and effectiveness. You will work closely with our Marketing Expert consultant and build a consistent brand messaging for BeeDee. You will also reach out to influencers, podcast creators, traditional media and other people active in the space to help us build value for the community. This is a unique chance to make a tangible impact in a growing company while honing your expertise in a fast-paced, creative environment. You will report directly into the CEO.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of experience in digital marketing, social media and content marketing
• You'll need to be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics
• You are a creative problem-solver who's up to date with the latest trends and technologies

• Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, platform-specific insight tools...)
• Knowledge of graphic design software (Canva, Photoshop OR Illustrator - as long as you can craft great visuals we don't really care with which tool you're proficient)
• Understanding of paid social advertising, including campaign setup, audience targeting, and optimization.

• Any experience with video editing
• Knowledge of promotion campaigns on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store
• Experience with community building
• Understanding of niche audiences
• Experience with influencer marketing
• Creative storytelling
• Event coordination experience
• Experience or knowledge of gamification strategies
• Data analysis experience

Senior Frontend Developer.

Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior Frontend Developer at Kink in the Cable BV, the company behind the dating app BeeDee. The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining user-facing features in our React Native and React-web applications, and collaborating with our back-end developer(s) and UI/UX designer(s). The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for making architecture choices and setting a code quality standard.

Qualifications

• 4 years or more of experience in JavaScript
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks such as React
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Be able to work independently and deliver well-tested features with excellent code quality
• Experience with Git
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence and markdown

• 2 years or more of experience in React Native and/or React Web
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Medior or Senior Backend Developer at Kink in the Cable BV, the company behind the dating app BeeDee. The Backend Developer will be contributing in implementing and maintaining our API and server-side features, in a Java/CDK/AWS techsteck. Focus on the code being bug-free, performant and scalable is important. The Backend Developer will be guided by a experienced Senior Backend Developer and in the case of being Medior, have a clear growth path to becoming Senior over time.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in Java, including years in education
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong talent for writing maintainable, scalable, performant code
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Git
• The ability to work 2 days per week from an office in Ghent, Belgium, or willingness to do so in the long term
